Helllllllllllooooooooooo!!! Are you almost ready for Christmas?

I am not really ready, but that is OK. After all, it isn't about if I am ready or not! :) We had some company for an early Christmas gathering on Friday, and ended up with a house full of sickies. The flu hit us bad over here! Alllllllllllllllll the way through till today. I have been worrying that I will get sick too and I can't get sick, I have things to finish up at work, but I can't worry about that anymore either. I did not get all the things I wanted to get done finished, but those things happen. I did manage to get two and a half trees put up last week though, and my class in Chicago area is finished, and I am done Christmas shopping, including the gifts for the giving tree at work. So I am pretty darn happy about that. Other good news for me is that next week I only have to work Monday and Tuesday, the rest of the week is FREE!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO, creativity, here I come!!! I am going to get started on a tag swap and an ATC swap I am in over at Scrapbook News and Review. If you haven't checked that place out yet, I highly encourage you to do so! It is fabulous.

I did finish up some more fun and festive tree placemats in the last two weeks, but did not get a chance to take pics. I will share the pattern I created for these placemats after Christmas, so you can work on some for next year. Alrighty? Here is a pic of one I did in September to remind you what I am talking about -

I also finished up some projects for Zutter, but can't share those quite yet. Even though I had very limited creative time in the last two weeks, I am pretty happy with the projects I did get done.

A reminder too, don't forget about the faboo crop at Citrus Tree Studio on December 31- Jan 2! It's gonna be awesome!!!

Well, I need to finish addressing my Christmas cards. I am so behind this year, yikes. Hopefully I will get them mailed before Christmas.

Have a wonderful and blessed week! Merry Christmas to you all!

A few sites to check out, I received a beautiful blog award, more projects, and a contest at Sketches ~ Creatively Yours.

Boy, every day goes by more quickly than the last, I swear! Does it seem that way to you too? I can't believe we are into December by almost a full week. WOOOO. Well, enough of that, time to talk about some fabbo stuff. First, if you haven't checked out this amazing and wonderful site, go give it a peek -
Scrapbook News and Reviews. Everyone is SUPER nice, and very inspiring. Tons of awesome projects and tutorials posted and a great forum. The magazine is running a special right now too - Cancer Awareness Special
Two-for-one special! Buy one annual subscription at the special rate of $39.99 and get a second subscription for free. Offer expires December 13, 2009. Doesn't this sound great? I am going to subscribe, if the magazine is as awesome as the website, I am sure it is fantastic.

OK, here is another site that I have been visiting off and on for a few months - Bad Girls Authentic Vintage Art. There is also a fabulous blog - Bad Girls Project 52. I finally had enough time to jump in and participate! Here is what I created for the Paperdoll challenge (go check out the blog for deets on what the challenge was)-

Close up of front (I bought a book at work during the United Way Used Book Sale, brought it home, carved it up, gesso'd the heck out of it, and Glimmer Misted it before I added lots of sparklie stuff)-

I received a gorgeous blog award from Robin over at Challenge Masters

Thanks a million Robin, that was really nice of you!

Here are a few of my Zutter projects for the month of December -

Christmas Organizer -

Inside the organizer (I covered and bound three large envies ~ To Do, Coupons & Misc., and Receipts, to keep everything in one place) -

Close up of the stamped and embossed details -

I have a few tags I made for Sketches ~ Creatively Yours, and as soon as Ali gets them posted I will share them here. I used a digital stamp created by Gina Rahman of Your Special Delivery. It was fun to use, and easy peasy to boot. Make sure you stop by the Sketches Creatively Yours blog to see the digital stamps (there is a freebie offered!) and view the details of the contest that is currently running.

Well, I need to get my rear in gear and get some additional projects done. I hope you all have a fantastic week!

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
