I bought it, and picked up a fun tassel and metal heart at two other stores for ridiculously low prices. I combined it with LOTS of sparklie Glimmer Mist and a few other odds and ends and it now it is a fun Valentine Wall hanging that looks like this (click on the pic, it will give you a better close up so you can see a bit of the sparkle)-
I have been playing with my Spellbinders dies like crazy lately. I have gotten on a flower making kick, I think it has to do with the fact that it is stinkin' FREEZING outside, and I am ready for spring to arrive. I was fine until we had the big thaw a week or two ago, it was 50 degrees and all the snow melted (about 2 feet worth, wooooo!). Then of course the temps dropped back into the single digits again. Yikes! So, to cheer and warm myself up, I have been making flowers. I have also been playing with boatloads of Glimmer Mist, love that stuff.
Here are some tags I just made for a swap I am in at Scrapbook News and Review (I made extras of course). The theme was metal, so I included lots of coppery accents including copper UTEE, and of course Glimmer Mist (wish you could see the sparkle) -
A close up peek -

OK, time for the blog candy post. Since I have been making so many flowers, I thought it would be nice to share. Simply sign up to be a follower, and you are in the drawing. Comment here and you get an extra entry in the drawing. Post about it on your blog and you get an extra two entries in the drawing. If you are already a follower, you are automatically entered for one entry. Sound easy peasy? This contest will run until February 21, that will give me plenty of time to create some more beautiful flowers. There will be two winners selected. You can tell me your preferred colors, and I will do my best to create something gorgeous ~ and there will be two dozen flowers per winner. Alrighty then? Here is a sample pic of what some of your flowers might look like -
You might also get a few of these cute little tags, or somethings similar -
If you like sparklie stuff, you will like my flowers and tags. I am somewhat addicted to Glimmer Mist. :)
Well, off to work on projects again, and look at a few more gardening and seed catalogs. Can't wait for spring.....................
Have a joyful and creative day ~ Pam
