Well, this stinks!!!

I came home from work tonight to check my email and the dang hotmail program is unaccessible!!! What the heck happened??? SHEESH!

I feel totally odd and out of sorts, because I always check my email as soon as I come home.
Yikes, I apologize if you have tried to contact me and I haven't responded.

If this continues too long, I will post an alternate email addy. It's one I rarely use because I really don't like the features.

Card Sketch Contest - using a Becky Fleck cardmap!

To celebrate the grand kick off event at MCC, besides the absolutely FABULOUS free classes, challenges, games, and prizes all happening over there, I am going to have a card sketch challenge in my classroom. Becky Fleck (love her sketches, she is so awesome!!!) was kind enough to do a card pagemap for me for this event. I will post the sketch in my class at My Creative Classroom and you will have the week of January 27-Feb 2nd to create something snazzy. Upload your card creation to the gallery I will have available there by 11:00 pm EST on Feb 2, 2008 and you are entered in the drawing for a prize. I'll tell you what the prize is once the contest is a littttle bit closer. I just wanted to get the dates out there for you so you can be sure to jot it down on your calendar. I'll have a link for the sketch contest here on my blog, but you have to upload your entries in my class gallery. Alrighty then? Feel free to fire away with the questions! Have an awesome weekend!

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
