Free Placemat Pattern

I posted the free pattern for this placemat over on the Erica's Craft & Sewing Blog. Go check it out! I am making a boatload of these placemats, they are quick and fun to make.

I head off to mid Michigan on Friday afternoon with two friends. We are going to spend the night at my mom's house, then head to Frankenmuth for a day of shopping. They have never been before, should be boatloads of fun. Can't WAIT!!! I will miss World Card Making Day at Citrus Tree Studio, but I will pop in and check out what everybody created when I get back. Hope you all have a fab World Card Making Day!

Another Cuttlebug Birthday Challenge project and a few other things

I have finished what I thought was the last of the Cuttlebug Birthday Palooza Challenge, wooooooooooo hoooooooooooo!!! (Apparently there is still one more for a total of 5 challenges!) I was really sick all last week, so it was a challenge to get through the week, let alone craft anything. :) I am happy to say I can sort of breathe now and am feeling about 75% better.
The latest challenge was to create a centerpiece, so here is what I came up with (I used the numbers embossing folder, the flower petals die and embossing folder, and the cupcake stamp die and embossing folder) -

The lighting isn't the greatest right now, so here are a few more pics with everything I made for the birthday celebration (views from different angles and moving things around a bit so you can see them better)-

Thanks for the challenge Cuttlebug, now we have lots of things ready for Cooper's first birthday party November 1st! It is ALWAYS great to be ready a bit early! Cort will be coming over in two weeks and we will finish making all the invites, and the individual table decor (dragonflies and pics). I am so happy I could help her with this, two little ones and working full time sure do keep her busy.

On to a few other things. I was lucky enough to win the oh-so-faboo Acrylic Organizer Stamp Album kit from Zutter!!! I put it together this weekend and here it is -

It is absolutely fantastic, it holds boatloads of stamps (check out the empty packages next to the album) -

Here is a view from the top -

If you haven't joined the Zutter site, you really need to check it out. There are some fantastically wonderful projects posted over there. If you have a Bind It All, or are thinking of getting one (you should, really!!!) it is the best place to find faboo inspiration. Plus everybody is super duper nice. Check it out here.

I have been working on patterns this week too. Here are two pics of placemats I finished. I used the oh-so-fab Basic Grey Figgy Pudding fabric from Moda (I am making 12 placemats and 3 tablerunners with this fabric)-

I will be posting the free placemat pattern over at Erica's Craft & Sewing Blog on Wednesday September 30, so zip over there on Wednesday and check it out. It will only be available until December 15, then it is gone forever. :)

Well, I hope you all have have a happy scrappy creative week. I am off to work on more placemats now!

A few more projects...

Here is my mini album for the Cuttlebug Challenge -

I used my BIA, love how easy it is to create a mini album using it. I picked brown Owires to coordinate with the album. Cuttlebug and Bind It All, two great tools that I love to use over and over.

I have almost finished this first Basic Grey Moda Figgy Pudding fabric tablerunner too. Here are a few pics -

I have boatloads of placemats partially finished as well. I will be posting the directions for the placemats on Erica's Craft & Sewing blog when they are finished. Look for the directions around the end of the month. You can use any fabric you want by the way. :)

I also made this mini album using the fab Figgy Pudding Moda fabric and some pp as well. The cover is stitched, I pieced the tree just like I did on teh placemat (used different proportions) -

Well, time for me to hit the hay, 5 am comes early. Happy scrapping, sewing, and crafting everybody!!!

My cards for Citrus Tree Studio Card Swap, and my Cuttlebug Challenge project

I have been busy as a bee canning salsa (canned over 90 pints so far this summer, after the big double batch yesterday, I may finally be done), but I have also managed to squeek in some time to create. First, here are my cards for the Autumn card swap at Citrus Tree Studio -

Here is a close up shot of one of the cards (of course there is some fabric on these cards he he)-

Next, my Cuttlebug Challenge gift bag and card (my invite is pictured as well)-

I love the color scheme for the birthday party things, it is very relaxing. It is for my dgs first birthday which will be November 1. He will have plenty of time for birthday themes like cars, sports, dinosaurs, etc... so this year I thought it would be nice to do something sweet. Cort likes the invites, so those are a go. YAY!

Here is my birthday card for the Cuttlebug Challenge!

Here is my entry for the Cuttlebug Birthday Party Invites Challenge on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog.
I thought I would do a card for Cooper's birthday party and see if Cort likes it. She will be making more cards if she does. :) The Cuttlebug is so faboo, it makes projects and cards easy peasy. (I added a pic of a layout I did of my granddaughter in the post below.) I am also working on some fall theme cards for a card swap at Citrus Tree Studio, and a using a few different Cuttlebug embossing folders to do so. Off to create some more, thanks for peeking at my card!

There is a lot of faboo inspiration on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blogspot, and fun challenges this month too! Check it out here. Looks like fun, doesn't it?

I will post a card soon, but here is a layout I just finished using one of the oh-so-fab Cuttlebug embossing folders (I used Coredinations cardstock, SOOOO fun to play with and perfect for using with the Cuttlebug Embossing folders) -

Still organizing, and some show pics

This weekend will find me organizing again, as well as canning more dill pickles, and taking a bike ride with hubby to visit a seafood buffet. YUM on the buffet part! I finally uploaded some pics of my booth at the show, I did not get a chance to take very many, but here are a few, taken toward the middle of the show -

I will be adding to my etsy shop sometime in the next few weeks, once I get a bit more of the organizing bug out of my system. :) I am also planning on stitching up a fleece blanket for myself this w/e, I have some fleece with cardinals and pine branches that I think would be a cozy snuggly blanket for this winter, and I have some embroidery to do on a few totes. I might even get to scrap something, I haven't scrapped in a few weeks and I have really missed it.

Hope you all have a faboo weekend!

Worked on organizing allllll weekend, dang no fun here

But it us starting to look good!!! I got tired of my fifty gazillion piles everywhere. I wanted to wait until after the show, as I kept pulling more and more stuff out to work on. I still want to take poics and post them of the nifty little things I picked up at the show, I will do so, I promise, it will just take me a bit longer. We have also lived in this house for about 3 years now and still haven't hung the pictures in the basement yet! Sheesh. I pulled everything out to look at and see what we need as far as filling in the blanks. I have a little list now, so I will be heading to Hoby Lobby after work on Monday to pick a few things up. We have a lot going again this week, but one of the things is Sew B (YAHOOOOOOO!). I can't wait till Tuesday, a few friends and I go to McD's after work, then head to Sew B. It's loads of fun. Hopefully this w/e I can finish up my organizong, at least what I want to finish for the time being. We will do pickles again, prbably Wednesday, since they are still coming on strong. We did 33 quarts last week, it was crazy. Between dh and the jars we give away, we might be out of pickles before Christmas! he he
I am going to be doing a blog tweaking in the next few weeks too. When I have a few things caught up at home I will start on my blog. I will be doing a contest, so stay tuned. It will be eaasy peasy, just sign up to be a follower. Easy enough, right? Anybody signed up to be a follower of my blog will be entered in the drawing. I'll post more deets when I get close to being ready.
Hope you all have a faboo week!!!

If you are in Nappanee this weekend..........

Come visit me at the festival! I will be in booth R071 (in the red area, between the gazebo and the barn, 2nd row from the gazebo and 2nd from the end). Just look for my tote bags and scrapped creations. Hopefully we will have great weather. This festival is one of the best arts and crafts festivals in the US, it is HUGE and there are lots of faboo vendors. You are sure to find something for everybody on your shopping list.
Here is a picture of one of the tote bags I machine embroidered for a wedding party-

How do you like it? I will be making more machine embroidered items soon. I will be listing some things on etsy too, I'll keep you posted. Hope you all have a fabulous week! Hope to see you at the festival!

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
