Hard at work

I have been brainstorming and learning and stuffing my noggin with all sorts of info lately! I have created quite a few new patterns for the baby nursery items that will be offered as classes in the spring. Lots and lots of pretty little girlie things right now, and hopefully the cute little boy things will be done after the holidays.
I have also created one new class for the fall so far- an altered quilted picture frame. WHAT in the world????? You miiiiight be thinking this. All I can say is, it looks really fab!
I think you will like it. There will be several options to create in this class. I am also working on another class for fall, and several more for spring. We are learning loads at MCC, so hopefully you will all learn a tremendous amount from US when we are done stuffing our brains and are ready to pass on some knowledge.
Have a super day and I'll catch ya up some more when I have more news. ty for visiting!!!

Check out my Slide Show!

I've been tagged!

I have been tagged by Beverley!!!
Holy cow, I hope I do this right!
OK, here we go-
the way it goes is:
1) You link to your 'tagger' & post the rules:
2) Share 7 facts about yourself - random/weird (WHAT??? Moi have weird or random facts??? That can't be! heh heh heh)
3)Tag 7 people & link to them
4) Leave comments on their blogs, so they know they've been tagged. Wellllll......sounds easy enough.....

So here I go-
7 facts about me:

1) I want to get my pilot's license someday. That would be FAB!!!
2) I love cheese. (how random is that??? he he)
3) I love high places, Grand Canyon, top of the Sear's Tower, the Power Tower, The Sky Slingshot, you name it!
4) I love roller coasters, see above :) .
5) I call my dogs "Sweets" when I want them alllll to come. Letting them outside? "Let's go outside Sweets!" (OK, that definitely qualifies as a weird fact. WOOO)
6) I have to straighten things on the counter as I pass, or it drives me crazy. Definitely weird, I know, but I can't HELP it :)
7) I love comedies, they are my very favorite kind of movies.

I am linking to Sherry , Ali , Shirley , Noella , Jess , Elisha ,Margie
OK, I am off to tag now.......

Sneak peek

  • OK, here is a sneak peek of a memo board that I have done for my soon to be here granddaughter. I am not old enough to be a grandma by the way, even if my dd is 24 years old! :) I will be adding a wee bit of snazzy embellishment to this memo board, but wanted to give you a little preview. I will be doing a class on how to make these awesome memo boards on MyCreativeClassroom.com, probably in the spring. Whatcha think?
I'll be posting a few more things in the next week or two. Just don't tell my dd, I want it to be a surprise.......... ;)
    tfl!

Welcome!

Hi there!!!

Thanks for stopping by! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Pam Sandy and I am a crafting maniac. I love to sew for people as well as the home, quilt, scrapbook, alter things, paint, make jewelry, stamp, make cards, write a bit, and quite a few other things as well. I am brand new to the world of blogging though, so bear with me while I get my feet wet here.
I am so happy you stopped by. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have about any of the things I have listed. I value your input as I try to narrow down my choices for classes. I have some AWESOME projects and ideas percolating for My Creative Classroom, the wonderful new online class forum that I was lucky enough to be chosen for. There are tons of super talented teachers there, believe me! Anything you want to learn in the way of crafting, creating, or scrapbooking, it will probably be there! I can't wait to take some classes myself. :) I will be teaching two classes starting in November for the opening kick off of classes. If you would take a moment to post which classes sound the most appealing to you, I would greatly appreciate it. I have narrowed my choices down, but need to narrow them further. If you have a request for a class, please list that in this thread as well. I pretty much love crafts of all types, but I am not a knitter. I am sure one of the instructors at My Creative Classroom is though!
Thanks again for stopping by, I look forward to getting to know you.

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
