Contest, link to free stuff, and more!

Hey everybody, how the heck are you all doing today? Pretty fab I hope! Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends, I hope it is healthy and blessed for you and your families.
OK, on to news.

First, my dear friend Ali sent me a link to a new DT call for a dear friend of hers- Noella Arsenault. She has a super blog titled Creatively Yours with a fab contest going on right now for TWO guest DT members for November. Make sure you check it out! If you love free sketches too (who doesn't, I know) then there are boatloads there for you to see. Good luck to all who enter!

Next, one of the DT members at Citrus Tree Studio, Nicole Stark has designed a hybrid scrapping challenge for the month of October with some FREE templates and tutorials. SOOOOOO cool! You will have to create an account at Citrus Tree Studio message board to see the challenges, but it is def worth it. I have a challenge listed on stretching your pp or cs with a little tutorial on how to do so. That is also in the monthly challenges area. Hope you stop in and say hi to us!

Last but def not least, my fab friend Beverley Todd posted a link on her blog about the new blog of a company she is a DT of CTPUBblog and I checked it out and it is super. They are a company that does a variety of crafting, scrapping, and sewing books and products and the link is to their new blog. tfs Beverley!!!

Well, I am off to sew a bit more on dgs quilt, it is turning out sooooooooooooooo cute. Darling little frogs. Since I pretty much make all my own patterns, it is always exciting for me to see if it turns out the same in material as it looks in my head, if ykwim! heh heh I'll post a pic when I am done. Hope everybody has a fab week!

HI Pamala,
I was just blog hopping and came across one of your post.

I kept scratching my head when I saw the spelling of your name, thought I was losing my memory. In over 40 yrs??, I have only seen one other person who spells her name the same. Anyways, GREAT NAME...LOL!

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
