Time to put up the Valentine's Wreath!

My goodness, we are about at the halfway point in January already, can you believe it?  I put my Valentine's Day wreath on the front door today since that holiday will be with us before we know it.  I made this last year and used lots of Ruby Rock-it cardstock and some bling, as well as feathers, ribbon, and glittery hearts and snowflakes and a little red bird.  Of course I had to use the S, since I am still lovin that monogram theme  for my wreaths.  :)

I had a few minutes to work on a set of Valentine's Day tags this weekend, and it was a lot of fun.  I will have a tutorial up at the Art Studio the week before Valentine's Day, stay tuned for details.  In the meantime, I have a photo of some of my Valentine Day fabric from my stash.  I played with some of this today.  Love that I am using more fabric from my stash instead of hoarding it and just looking at it.  It is a lot more fun to use it, believe it or not!

Speaking of The Art Studio, I can't wait  for my Upcycled Snowman Class to start on January 26th!!!  I will post a link here to where you can sign up, as soon as it is active.  This one shot class is priced at only $5.99, which is a super great deal.  In the meantime I have a couple of sneak peeks for you.

Well, I have a long day tomorrow, and have to be up just after 3 am, so I better get my rear in gear and go to bed.  Time for more crafty stuff later this week, or on the weekend!

I hope you all have a joyful and creative week ~ Pam

Time for Cards! Happy Spring too. :)

Hello!  How are you all doing today?  Hopefully fabulously.  I had time to play with my inks, stamps, mists, and some of my embossing folders for a bit of time this weekend, and made a few cards, as well as some background paper for my stash.  I haven't had time to do so in quite a while, and I loved every second of it!!!  Nothing like stained fingers and bits of colorful paper to make a girl feel like spring is here.  If that wasn't enough, my hubs and I also scrubbed and washed our wooden fence this week, which let me tell you was QUITE the job.  We also spent some time today cleaning up the ginormous garden since we did not have a chance to do so last fall by pulling boatloads of weeds, rototilling (well, he did the rototilling part), and thinning out the raspberry bushes.  Woooo, love this beautiful weather, but it is tiring!  heh heh heh  I also started going through some of my stuff for indoor spring cleaning.  I discovered some stamps that were duplicates, so I decided to pass them on to some one else in a wee giveaway. If you would like a chance to win them, please leave me a comment letting me know which card you like best out of the 4 same size cards I made this weekend (shown here) ~

Here are the stamps ~

I will include that card with the stamps and little clear acrylic block for one lucky commenter as a giveaway (please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you)

It was my hubs birthday this week too, the first day of spring (see the fence in the background?  That was a LOT of scrubbing!) ~

We had a family dinner last Sunday to celebrate.  The weather was gorgeous, and the grandkiddies all loved playing with bubbles while enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

Here are some photos of my creative time this weekend.  First is a bit of the homemade background paper cut into small size embossed bits, and some words, butterflies, and a few flowers  ~

Some background paper, wish you could see the lovely sparkle from the mists ~

More background paper, misted, inked, stamped, and heat embossed ~

Close up of some of the bits, I used some of the Pearl Smooch to go over certain embossed and inked areas to make it sparkle a bit more ~

The pearl Smooch is fun to play with, just like painting with a pointed nail polish brush, easy to get fine details  ~

A card I made for someone, it opened the door to creating additional cards in the same sitting ~

See that fun sparkle?  Love sparkle!

Did you notice the two fabric strips?  Gotta have fabric on a fun card!

My weekend card creations ~

I have other big, big, BIG news, but I can't share it yet.  As soon as I am able to though, you will be the first to know.  I can't wait to tell you, I am so excited (jumping up and down).  In the meantime, don't forget to comment on this post letting me know your favorite for a chance to win the card, and the little stamps and acrylic block.  I will pick one lucky winner next Sunday.  I look forward to hearing back from you!
I wish you a joyful and creative week ~ Pam

Happy July!

Did you have a marvelous month of June?  It flew by too quickly, I think.  I did manage to get some sewing done though.I wanted to share a few pics of what I created ~

First, new curtains and valances for the camper (soooo dang cute irl)~

Next, cute little dresses and hairthings for the grandbabies ~

Hollyn was more cooperative about letting me take her pic than Kaya was ~

Hollyn liked the bright colors, can you tell?

Lots of new headbands (Kaya likes the new headbands, they stay in her hair soooooooo nicely) ~

Also, June was a busssssssssy month at work, and with getting things sorted for a garage sale too.  I have two projects I just finished for the Luminarte blog, I will share more about them later this month.  Additionally, I did want to let you know that the Zutter Zisters are having two summer blog hops, one in July, and one in August.  I will be in the August hop, so stay tuned for deets.  In the meantime though, here is a little info on the July Hop that starts Monday July 11 ~
It's Zummer Time! Join the Zutter Zisters Design Team for some summer themed project ideas, shopping specials and a dose of hot weather inspiration.  The fun starts on the Bind-it-All blog on Monday, July 11, and runs daily through Friday, July 15.  There will be daily drawings for Zutter giveaways, and tips for staying cool.  It's Zummer Time, and the crafting is EASY

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
