Hello! I am busy sewing and scrapping this weekend. Here is what I have finished sewing so far (except the bit of handsewing and then stitch in the ditch quilting I still have to do)-
a little close up -
if you will be at Sew B on Tuesday night, this is the project I am teaching (email to follow with fabric requirements). You can make either a one, two, or three square tablerunner. Use any fabric you like! I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding by Moda, but this project is perfect for a variety of fabrics, including scraps.
I posted a card I just finished for WCMD on the Zutter site. I cut everything out last weekend, and had to finish it this weeekend cause I ran out of time! The contest at Zutter runs til October 16, so there is still time to join in. Hope to see you there!
I thought it was a good time for a contest.
Sooooooooo, about that blog candy.........if you sign up to be follower of my blog your name will be put in a drawing for a lovely prize. Easy peasy contest, doncha think? ;) Anybody already signed up as a follower will also be in the drawing. Once you are a follower, here is what you are in the drawing for -
The cards are some that I made, each has a sentiment inside. The best wishes card has a happy birthday stamp inside, the joy cutie pie card says love you inside, and the Love is bearing all things card has a thanks stamp inside. Great for those last minute card needs!
PLUS I will include a fat quarter of fabric from my stash. A fat quarter is a piece of fabric sized about 18" x 22", so it is a nice size to use in scrappy projects, or to make a litle wallet, purse, etc... The winner can choose the color and type (color, old fashioned, floral, text, print, Moda or Halvorsen print, etc...) and I will include that as well. There will also be some ribbon included. So it is a fun blog candy, don't you think? ;) Plus if you post about my blog candy on your blog with a link back here, I will throw in two extra fat quarters of fabric and some vintage trim. Fun stuff! The contest runs through October 31, and the drawing will be held November 1st.
I am going to be working on lots of fun projects in the next few months, and I would like you all to see what I am working on. I will also be posting some free tutorials and challenges, and you don't want to miss those. Alrighty then? Have a fab fab weekend, and don't forget to sign up to be a follower!

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?
Pam- that is me. :)
eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.
stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")
*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)
So there you have it!
